Personal Growth Goal:
I am definitely looking for ideas for differentiated instruction for mathematics and science.

For Algebra I need ideas of how to help my learners grow in critical thinking. The kids give up so easily I want to change this.

For Earth Science I am interested in more technology to bring the learners into a learner centered classroom. I want the learners to engage in more conversation amongst themselves. I would like for my learners to induce more of this conversation and not just use yes and no answers. Participation is the key.




Student Achievement Goal: To increase the Bloom's levels of thinking. Learners in both Algebra and Earth Science want to stay at the Knowledge level. They have to walk up the ladder.

Studywiz	Discussion threads among the learners	Discussion threads will allow the learners to participate without feeling they are put on the spot. This will allow them to raise the bar in participation.
Podcasting
Wikis and Blogs	Wiki's and Blogs will assist me in getting ideas to the learners. The learners will then take the lead and turn the classroom into a learner centered classroom instead of a teacher led classroom.	Again, this will allow learners to move up the Bloom's ladder

iLife	The multi-media properties of this application will allow the learners to take the lead in the classroom.	"Moving on up" the ladder
